Chinese Nubia has launched two new flagship devices Redmagic 9S Pro and Redmagic 9S Pro Plus smartphones in China. These new gaming smartphones have flagship specifications like the latest Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 processor, up to 24GB RAM, 1TB storage, triple rear cameras, in-display fingerprint, 5G and bigger batteries.
These devices also have an ICE 13.5 Multi-Dimensional Cooling System with 22,000 RPM high-speed turbofan and Cooling Air Duct. This device has a 3D Ice Step Dual Pump VC and an aerospace aluminum mid-frame. These devices also come with shoulder trigger buttons with 520Hz touch sampling rate touchpads, a game space switch that toggles special game mode on or off and RGB light which is fully customizable with lighting effects.
Redmagic 9S Pro Price
The new Redmagic 9S Pro is priced at 4799 Yuan for 12GB RAM and 256GB storage, and 5199 Yuan for 12GB RAM and 512GB storage and these prices are for the Dark Knight and White Knight colours. The Transparent Silver Deuterium and Transparent Dark Knight variants are priced at 4999 Yuan for the 12GB RAM and 256GB storage variant, and 5399 Yuan for the 12GB RAM and 512GB storage.
Redmagic 9S Pro Plus Price
The Redmagic 9S Pro Plus is priced at 5799 Yuan for the Dark Knight and White Knight colours and 16GB RAM and 512GB storage options. The Transparent Silver Deuterium and Transparent Dark Knight variant with 16GB RAM and 512GB storage goes for 5999 Yuan and 6999 Yuan for the 24GB RAM and 1TB storage option.
Both devices will go on sale from July 9th, 2024 in China and globally from July 16th.
Redmagic 9S Pro Specifications
The new Redmagic 9S Pro features a 6.8-inch Full HD+ (2480 x 1116 pixels) AMOLED display with BOE Q9+ material, 93.7% body ratio, 120Hz refresh rate, up to 960Hz touch sampling rate, 10-bit colour depth and 100% DCI-P3 colour gamut, up to 1600 nits peak brightness, DC dimming, 21600Hz PWM dimming, Corning Gorilla Glass protection. It is powered by an octa-core Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 4nm processor that comes with Adreno 750 GPU. This device comes with 12GB/16GB/ 24GB of LPDDR5X RAM options with 256GB/512GB/1TB of UFS 4.0 inbuilt storage options with no further option to expand it.
It runs on the Android 14-based Redmagic OS 9 OS and supports Dual SIMs. It features a triple rear camera with a 50-megapixel Samsung GN5 sensor, a 50-megapixel 120-degree ultra-wide lens with a Samsung JN1 sensor, a 2-megapixel macro camera with GigaDevice GC02M1 sensor, a 7P lens and an APL-coated anti-glare. It also has a 16-megapixel 2nd generation under-display front camera with f/2.0 aperture. It has a 6500mAh battery with 80W fast charging support and connectivity options include 5G NSA /SA, Dual 4G VoLTE, Wi-Fi 6E 802.11 ax (2.4GHz + 5GHz + 6GHz), Bluetooth 5.4, GPS (L1/L5)+ GLONASS, USB Type-C, NFC 3.5mm audio jack and other features like Dual 1115K speakers, DTS:X ULTRA and 3 mics. It has an in-display fingerprint sensor. It measures 163.98×76.35×8.9mm and 229 grams.
Redmagic 9S Pro Plus Specifications
The new Redmagic 9S Pro Plus has similar specifications to the Redmagic 9S Pro but has a smaller battery of 5500mAh with 165W fast charging support.
