Samsung Z4 support page goes live on Official India and Africa websites
Samsung is soon going to launch the budgeted Samsung Z4 smartphone with the Tizen 3.0 OS out of the box as we saw the device getting the FCC approval earlier this month with the model number SM-Z400F. The FCC approval documents confirmed the dual-SIM variant of the Z4 having the model number SM-Z400F/DS and 4G LTE, Bluetooth 4.0LE up to 2GHz, WiFi, GPS and other connectivity options. And lastly, the FCC approval confirmed Lithium-ion battery with 3.85V, 7.9Wh ratings and the dimensions of the device were also confirmed with an overall (length x width) of 132 .9 mm x 69 . 2 mm. Now, looks like the Tizen based phone will be announced soon as the support page for the device have gone live on the official Samsung website.
Loks like the Samsung Z4 will be announced in Indian and African markets simultaneously as the device is listed on Samsung India website with model number SM-Z400F/DS and on African Samsung website, it is listed with model number SM-Z400Y with no mention of dual-SIM variant. The support pages however, doesn’t have any specifications of the device listed and comes with usual support question/answers. As per the rumors the Samsung Z4 will come with advanced features such as a voice recognition feature and an AI based assistant. The device will run on the new Tizen 3.0 OS out of the box and will support Dual-SIMs. No other details about the device are currently available.
To recall, the Samsung Z3 was launched in 2015 with a 5-inch HD Super AMOLED display and was powered by a 1.3GHz quad-core Spreadtrum SC7730S SoC with 1GB of RAM and it comes with 8GB of inbuilt storage capacity that is also expandable via microSD card up to 128GB. The Samsung Z3 featured an 8-megapixel rear camera with an f/2.2 aperture and an LED flash while we have a 5-megapixel front-facing camera with the same f/2.2 aperture for selfies. Connectivity options include 3G, Bluetooth 4.0, Micro-USB, GPS with A-GPS and Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g/n with 4G LTE option. It is backed up by a 2600mAh battery with an ultra power saving mode. It weighs 137 grams and measures 141.6x70x7.9mm.
