LG V30+ launched in India priced at Rs. 44990

At an official event in IFA in Berlin earlier this year, LG launched the LG V30 and V30+ smartphones with dual rear cameras and full-vision displays. Today the company launched the bigger LG V30+ for the Indian market priced at Rs. 44990 (around $700), however, the company hasn’t launched the V30 in the event for India. The LG V30+ comes in Black and Silver color options and will be available via Amazon India website exclusively starting from December 18th. LG is also offering a free wireless charger for the first 2000 LG V30+ customers.

The LG V30+ was launched with a 6-inch QHD+ OLED display with a 18:9 aspect ratio, 538 PPI, Corning Gorilla Glass 5 protection and 2880 x 1440 pixels resolution. It is powered by an octa-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 835 Mobile Platform with Adreno 540 GPU and comes with 4GB of LPDDR4x RAM with 128GB (UFS 2.0) internal storage capacity that is further expandable up to 2TB storage with microSD card slot. It runs on the Android 7.1.2 (Nougat) with LG UX 6.0+ and is upgradable to Android 8.0 (Oreo) OS. It comes with Hybrid Dual SIM option for Indian market.

It features a dual rear camera with a 16-megapixel rear camera with f/1.6-aperture, 71-degree wide-angle lens, dual-tone LED flash, Laser auto focus, OIS, EIS, PDAF along with a 13-megapixel secondary camera with f/1.9 aperture and a 120-degree wide-angle lens. It also comes with a 5-megapixel front camera with 90-degree wide-angle lens and f/2.2 aperture. It has a 3300mAh battery with Qualcomm Quick Charge 3.0 fast charging and support for wireless charging as well. Connectivity options available are 4G VoLTE, WiFi 802.11 ac (2.4GHz and 5GHz), Bluetooth 5.0 LE, GPS, NFC, USB Type-C 2.0 (3.1 compatible) and also supports 32-bit Advanced Hi-Fi Quad DAC. The device is water and dust resistant with IP68 ratings and is also MIL-STD 810G certified. It has a fingerprint sensor available on the rear side. It measures 151.7 x 75.4 x 7.3mm and weights 158 grams.
