ZTE’s Nubia has launched a new smartphone in the Z series with the name Nubia Z18 Mini that comes with 6Gigs of RAM, dual rear camera and other top-end features and specifications. The device has a large 18:9 ratio full-view display and interestingly this device hasn’t copied the Apple’s top-notch display feature. It comes with all-metal Aluminum alloy frame and comes with a dedicated voice button. It is priced at 1799 yuan (around $286) for the 6GB RAM + 64GB inbuilt storage, 2099 yuan (around $334) for the 6GB RAM + 128GB inbuilt storage option and 2199 yuan (around $349) for the limited Provence Edition with 6GB RAM + 128GB inbuilt storage and it is available only in Purple color while the other variants are available with Black, White, Blue and Pink colors. It is available for pre-orders currently in China and will go on sale in the country from April 19th.
The Nubia Z18 mini features a 5.7-inch 18:9 FHD+ In-Cell 2.5D curved glass display with 85% NTSC color gamut and 2160 × 1080 pixels resolution. It is powered by an octa-core Snapdragon 660 14nm Mobile Platform (Quad 2.2GHz Kryo 260 + Quad 1.8GHz Kryo 260 CPUs) with Adreno 512 GPU. It comes with 6GB RAM and 64GB / 128GB internal storage options. It runs on the Android 8.1 (Oreo) with nubia UI on top and supports Dual SIMs.
It features a dual rear camera with a 24-megapixel rear camera with f/1.7 aperture, PDAF, CAF, dual-tone LED flash along with a 5-megapixel secondary camera. It also comes with an 8-megapixel front-facing camera with f/2.0 aperture, 1.12um pixel size, 80-degree wide-angle lens. It has a 3450mAh battery and supports connectivity options such as 4G VoLTE, Wi-Fi 802.11 ac (2.4GHz + 5GHz), Bluetooth 5, GPS + GLONASS, USB Type-C, 3.5mm audio jack and comes with audio enhancement features like TAS2555 smart Amplifier and DTS Headphone: X. It measures 148 × 70.6 × 7.6mm and weights 153 grams. It has a fingerprint sensor on the rear side and also comes with Face unlocking support that can scan up to 106 facial points and also lights up the screen when you lift the phone to unlock the phone quickly.
