Nubia Z18 announced with AI dual rear cameras, Snapdragon 845 and 8GB of RAM

ZTE has today launched a new device in the Nubia Z series with the name Nubia Z18. This new Nubia smartphone comes with an 18:9 aspect ratio display with a 91.8% screen-to-body ratio. It has an AI dual rear camera with AI scene recognition that can recognize 500 scenes. It also comes with support for Face unlocking that scans up to 106 facial points and also lights up the screen when you lift the phone to unlock the phone quickly.

Nubia Z18 Price

The Nubia Z18 is priced at 2799 yuan (around $409) for the 6GB RAM + 64GB of inbuilt storage variant while the 8GB RAM + 128GB of inbuilt storage variant is priced at 3299 yuan (around $482). Another Limited Edition Van Gogh Starlight Collector’s Edition is priced at 3,599 yuan (around $526). It will be available for sale in the homeland of China starting from September 11th.

Nubia Z18 Specifications

The Nubia Z18 comes with a glass back with Corning Gorilla Glass protection and has an all-metal Aluminum alloy frame. It also comes with a dedicated voice button and it comes with Midnight Black and Nebula Red colour options. The Nubia Z18 features a 5.99-inch 18:9 FHD+ In-Cell 2.5D curved glass display, 96% NTSC colour gamut, Corning Gorilla Glass 3 protection, and 2160 × 1080 pixels resolution. It is powered by a 2.8GHz Octa-Core Snapdragon 845 64-bit 10nm Mobile Platform with Adreno 630 GPU. It comes with 6GB LPDDR4 RAM with 64GB (UFS 2.1) inbuilt storage and 8GB RAM with 128GB internal storage. It runs on the Android 8.1 (Oreo) with Nubia UI 6.0 and supports Dual SIMs.

It features a dual rear camera with a 16-megapixel camera with dual-tone LED flash, f/1.6 aperture, PDAF, OIS, and EIS along with a 24-megapixel secondary rear camera with f/1.6 aperture. It has an 8-megapixel front-facing camera with a wide-angle lens and f/2.0 aperture. It carries a 3450mAh battery with Quick Charge 4.0 fast charging and it supports 4G VoLTE, Wi-Fi 802.11 ac (2.4GHz + 5GHz), Bluetooth 5, GPS + GLONASS, USB Type-C connectivity options. It comes with a fingerprint sensor on the rear side and comes with DTS+D-BASS audio enhancement feature. It measures 148.58×72.54×8.55mm and weighs 172 grams.
