Moto G9 Plus announced with Snapdragon 730G and 5000mAh battery

Last month, Motorola launched the new budget-friendly smartphone Moto G9 and today the company has announced the bigger variant of the device with the name Moto G9 Plus that comes with upgraded specs from the Moto G9. However, still, the new Moto G9 Plus doesn’t have 5G connectivity support like the Moto G9. The Moto G9 Plus is launched for the Brazil market priced at 2499 Brazilian real (around $469) and is currently available for sale in the country. The Moto G9 Plus comes with a punch-hole display, has a plastic back and comes with the quad-rear camera setup. The device is also expected to launch soon in other regions as well including the Indian market. Let’s check-out the specifications of this device.

Moto G9 Plus

The Moto G9 Plus features a 6.8-inch FHD+ MaxVision LCD with HDR10 support and 2400 x 1080 pixels resolution. It is powered by an Octa-Core (2.2GHz Dual + 1.8GHz Hexa) Snapdragon 730G with Adreno 618 GPU. It comes with 4GB of LPDDR4x RAM and 128GB of inbuilt storage capacity that is further expandable with microSD card slot. It runs on the Android 10 OS out of the box and also supports Dual SIM (nano + nano / nano+microSD) slots. It will be available with Rose Gold and Indigo Blue colours options.

It has a quad-camera setup on the rear side with a 64-megapixel main camera with f/1.8 aperture, an 8-megapixel 118 ° ultra-wide camera with f/2.2 aperture, a 2-megapixel macro camera with f/2.2 aperture and a 2-megapixel depth sensor with f/2.2 aperture. It also comes with a 16-megapixel with f/2.0 aperture. It has a 5000mAh battery with 30W TurboPower fast charging. Connectivity options available are Dual 4G VoLTE, Wi-Fi 802.11 ac (2.4GHz +5GHz), NFC, Bluetooth 5.0, GPS + GLONASS and USB Type-C port. It comes with a side-mounted fingerprint sensor and comes with a splash-resistant P2i coating. It measures 170 x 78.1 x 9.7 mm and weight 223g.

To recall, the Moto G9 was launched with a 6.5-inch HD+ IPS TFT LCD Max Vision display with 20:9 Display Aspect Ratio, Screen-to-body Ratio: 87% Active Area Touch Panel (AA-TP) and 1600×720 pixels resolution. It is powered by the Octa-Core Qualcomm Snapdragon 662 — up to 2 GHz 4 x Kryo 260 Performance (Cortex A73-based) + Up to 1.8GHz 4 x Kryo 260 Efficiency (Cortex A53-based). It comes with 4GB of LPDDR4x and comes with 64GB internal storage capacity which is expandable up to 512GB additional storage with microSD card slot. It comes with Hybrid Dual SIM (nano + nano / microSD) slots and runs on the Android 10 OS out of the box.

It comes with water repellent P2i coating design and has a rear-mounted fingerprint scanner with face unlock feature as well. It also comes with FM Radio support and bottom ported speakers.
