Vivo X21i announced with dual rear cameras, 6GB RAM and MediaTek Helio P60 processor

Vivo today announced the Vivo X21i smartphone which is the new cheapest variant of the Vivo X21 smartphone that was launched in March this year. The new Vivo X21i comes with a MediaTek processor instead of a Snapdragon one. It also doesn’t have an in-display fingerprint scanner but comes with a rear fingerprint scanner and face unlock features.

It is priced at 2698 yuan (around $423) for the 4GB /6GB RAM + 64GB / 128GB of inbuilt storage. The device is currently up for pre-orders via Vivo online shop and will be available for sale starting May 19th. It will be available in Black, Aurora White and Ruby Red colour options.

Vivo X21i Specifications

The new Vivo X21i features a 6.28-inch Full HD+ 19:9 Super AMOLED display with 2280 × 1080 pixels resolution and is powered by the octa-core MediaTek Helio P60 12nm processor (Quad 2GHz Cortex A73 + Quad 2GHz Cortex A53 CPUs) with ARM Mali-G72 MP3 GPU. It comes with 6GB RAM with 64GB internal storage and 4GB RAM with 128GB inbuilt storage while it also supports expandable storage up to 256GB with a microSD card slot. It comes with a Hybrid Dual SIM option and runs on the Funtouch OS 4.0 based on Android 8.1 (Oreo) out of the box.

It features a dual rear camera with a 12-megapixel camera with LED flash, f/1.8 aperture along with a secondary 5-megapixel camera with f/2.4 aperture. It also comes with a 24-megapixel front-facing camera with f/2.0 aperture. It is backed up by a 3245mAh battery with fast charging support and comes with connectivity options such as 4G VoLTE, WiFi 802.11 ac (2.4 GHz + 5 GHz), Bluetooth 4.2, GPS, 3.5mm audio jack and AK4376A Hi-Fi audio chip. It has a fingerprint sensor on the rear side. It measures 154.37×74.98×6.99mm and weighs 159 grams.
