Infinix debuts in India with two new “Gamechanger” smartphones, price starting at Rs7499

The Hong Kong-based mobile company Infinix Mobility has finally made its debut in India today with its two new smartphone launches, Infinix Note 4 and the Infinix Hot 4 Pro. Both phones are targeted at budget smartphone buyers.

Infinix Hot 4 Pro Specifications:

Talking about the Hot 4 Pro, sports a metal build with capacitive touch buttons on the front and a fingerprint sensor on the back. It runs a custom skinned UI known as XOS, an operating system based on Android 6.0, with some additional features like 3-Finger Screenshot, XThemes, XMagazines and even a theme manager called XThemes with an inbuilt wallpaper shuffle app called ‘Shuffle App’. The software is powered by a MediaTek 6737 Quad-Core processor clocked at 1.3GHz coupled with 3GB of RAM.

The phone comes with a 5.5-inch 720p IPS TFT panel which isn’t the sharpest in the price segment. The device comes with 16GB internal storage which can be extended up to 128GB via an external MicroSD card and the dedicated SDcard slot provided. For a better multimedia experience, the company has included a “Dirac 3D Stereo Dual Speaker” setup.

The device packs a 13MP rear shooter with a 1.4um pixel size, helping in low light photography, and a 5MP front shooter with a 1.12um pixel size. Both the front and the rear camera comes with LED flash support. The device packs almost all important and basic sensors like e-compass, light sensor, proximity sensor etc. The whole device is powered by a 4000mAh non-removable battery with XCharge Quick Charge support.

Infinix Note 4 Specifications:

The Infinix Note 4 boasts a metal printed back which provides a smooth and seamless experience according to the company. The front glass is a 2.5D curved Gorilla Glass protection. The fingerprint sensor is placed on the front along with two capacitive touch buttons. The device sports a 5.7-inch Full HD IPS LCD with an 85% colour gamut as claimed by the company. The device comes with an upgraded version of the XOS operating system called XOS 2.2 based on Android 7.0. On the hardware part, it packs a MediaTek 6753 chipset clocked at 1.3GHz coupled with 3GB RAM and 32GB internal storage expandable up to 128GB via external microSD card.

Talking about the camera, it comes with a 13MP rear camera and a 5MP front camera both capable of shooting 1080p video and comes coupled with LED flash. The device comes with all the basic and important sensors like theĀ e-compass, light sensor, proximity sensor etc. The phone is powered by a 4300mAh battery with XCharge fast charging technology which charges 45% of the juice within 30mins as claimed by the company.

Both phones come with 4G VoLTE support out of the box. The Infinix Hot 4 Pro comes in 2 colours: Bordeaux Red & Quartz Black and is priced at Rs 7499 while the Note 4 comes in 2 colours: Champagne Gold & Ice Blue and comes with a price tag of Rs 8999 and is going to be sold via Flipkart, sales starting on 3rd August at 12Noon.
