Samsung Galaxy A7 2018 FCC approved with SM-A730F model number

Looks like Samsung is all set to launch the new Galaxy A series smartphone Samsung Galaxy A7 2018 soon as we have seen the device listed by GFXBench and Geekbench benchmarks previously, but now the device has received the FCC approval in US that hints towards its imminent launch in the US. The Galaxy A7 2018 comes with SM-A730F model number on FCC and as usual, the FCC approval documents comes with some test related to LTE and other connectivity options. The FCC documents haven’t revealed any specifications of the device and there are no images of the device available in the FCC documents so we may have to wait for its more leaks and rumors for more details.

The FCC approval documents for Galaxy A7 2018 model number SM-A730F also comes with dual SIM variant that carries the model number SM-A730F/DS that will launched along with the single SIM variant in some markets. The Galaxy A7 2018 was spotted at Geekbench with model number SM-A730F and it comes with Android 7.1.1 Nougat OS out of the box and comes with 1.59 GHz octa-core processor along with 6GB of RAM. The device has scored 1490 points in single-core test and 4172 points in multi-core test. No other details about the device are available in Geekbench test.

The device was also listed by GFXBench benchmark with an unusual display size 86.7-inch but it will be a 6-inch Full HD+ Infinity Display with Corning Gorilla Glass protection and 2160 x 1080 pixels resolution. It is powered by a 2.1GHz Octa-Core Exynos 7885 14nm processor with Mali-G71 GPU and comes with 4GB of RAM and 32GB internal storage capacity with expandable storage upto 256GB via microSD card slot. It runs on the Android 7.1.1 (Nougat) OS out of the box as we spotted at Geekbench and supports Dual SIMs. It features a 16-megapixel rear camera with LED flash and a 16-megapixel front facing camera. It will have a fingerprint sensor and will have water and dust resistant body with IP68 ratings. The device will have 4G VoLTE, Wi-Fi 802.11ac (2.4GHz + 5GHz), Bluetooth v4.2, NFC, USB Type-C connectivity options at time of its launch.
