Vivo has launched the new gaming smartphone under the iQOO brand with the name Vivo iQOO that comes with impressive specifications and design. It comes with a triple rear camera along with an in-display fingerprint scanner. It comes with up to 12GB of RAM and holds a 4000mAh battery. The device is priced at 2998 yuan (around $447) for 6GB RAM + 128GB inbuilt storage variant, 8GB RAM + 128GB internal storage option is priced at 3298 yuan (around $491), 8GB RAM with 256GB variant is priced at 3598 yuan (around $536). The top-end 12GB RAM + 256GB storage variant with matte black carbon fibre textured back cover is priced at 4298 yuan (around $640. The device is currently up for pre-orders and will be available for sale in China from March 6th. It comes with Electro Optic Blue and Lava Orange colour options.
The Vivo iQOO has a 6.41-inch Full HD+ Super AMOLED 19.5:9 aspect ratio display with 1080 × 2340 pixels resolution and is powered by an Octa-Core Snapdragon 855 7nm Mobile Platform (1 x 2.84GHz Kryo 485 + 3 x 2.42GHz Kryo 485 + 4x 1.80GHz Kryo 485) with Adreno 640 GPU. It comes with 6GB/ 8GB RAM with 128GB / 256GB internal storage and 12GB RAM with 256GB internal storage options. It comes with Dual SIM support and runs on the Android 9.0 (Pie) with Funtouch OS 9. It has a triple rear camera with a 12-megapixel camera with LED flash, Sony IMX363 sensor, f/1.79 aperture, a 13-megapixel 120-degree ultra-wide lens, f/2.4 aperture and a 2-megapixel camera with f/2.4 aperture.
It also has a 12-megapixel front-facing camera with f/2.0 aperture and comes with an in-display fingerprint sensor. It has a 4000mAh battery with 44W ultra fast charging that lets you charge the phone from 0 to 50% in 15 minutes, to 85% in 30 minutes, and 100% in 45 minutes. It supports Dual 4G VoLTE, Wi-Fi 802.11 ac (2.4GHz + 5GHz), Bluetooth 5, GPS + GLONASS, USB Type-C, NFC connectivity options. It measures 157.69×75.2×8.51mm and weight of 196 grams. The device has an aluminium alloy frame and it’s back cover comes with two electro-optic lines that hide a colourful LED strip that lights up for notifications when gaming. There are two hidden pressure sensitive buttons on the phone for a 4D gaming experience with real-time recognition of the game scene that vibrates the phone to intelligent match the scenes.
