Samsung announces Galaxy W21 5G foldable smartphone with Snapdragon 865+ processor
Samsung has just announced the Samsung Galaxy W21 5G, the new foldable smartphone and the successor to last year’s Samsung Galaxy W20 today for the Chinese market in an official event. It has an Infinity-O Dynamic AMOLED inner display with a 120Hz refresh rate and a 6.2-inch HD+ Super AMOLED Infinity Flex outer display.

Samsung Galaxy W21 Price
It runs on the Snapdragon 865+ processor and comes with similar specifications to the recently launched Galaxy Z Fold2 5G. The Samsung Galaxy W21 5G foldable smartphone is priced at 19999 yuan (around $3000) in China where it is currently available for pre-order. It will be available for sale starting from November 20th in the country. As it will be a China-only smartphone, it won’t be available globally.

The Samsung Galaxy W21 5G comes with a 7.3-inch QXGA+ 22.5:18 Infinity-O Dynamic AMOLED 2x inner display with 2208 x 1768 pixels resolution and also has a 6.23-inch 25:9 HD+ Super AMOLED Infinity Flex outer display with 2260 x 816 pixels resolution. It is powered by an Octa-Core Qualcomm Snapdragon 865+ 7nm Mobile Platform with Adreno 650 GPU coupled with 12GB of LPDDR5 RAM and 512GB (UFS 3.1) inbuilt storage capacity and no MicroSD card storage slot. It runs on the Android 10 OS-based One UI 2.5 out of the box and supports Dual SIM (nano + nano) slots.
It has a triple rear camera with a 12-megapixel main camera with LED Flash, f/1.8 aperture, PDAF, OIS, and a 12-megapixel Telephoto lens with f/2.4 aperture, PDAF, OIS, 2x optical zoom, up to 10x digital zoom and a 12-megapixel 120° Ultra Wide sensor with f/2.2 aperture. It also has a 10-megapixel cover camera and a 10-megapixel front-facing camera with an f/2.2 aperture.
It has a 4500mAh battery with 25W wired and 11W wireless (WPC and PMA) charging support and comes with connectivity options like 5G SA/NSA, Dual 4G VoLTE, Wi-Fi 802.11ax (2.4/5GHz), HE80, MIMO, 1024-QAM, Bluetooth 5, GPS with GLONASS, USB Type-C (Gen 3.2), NFC, MST. It has stereo speakers tuned by AKG and Dolby Atmos support as well. It has a side-mounted fingerprint sensor. It measures 68.0 x 159.2 x13.8~16.8mm when folded and 128.2 x 159.2 x 6.0~6.9mm when not folded. It weighs 288 grams.
