Poco M3 announced with 6000mAh battery

Xiaomi has announced a new “POCO M” series smartphone POCO M3 in an official global launch event today. The new POCO M3 comes with a new unique camera look design with a triple camera system. This budgeted device has a display with a 90.34% screen-to-body ratio with a due-drop notch, Snapdragon 662 processor, a two-tone design, an anti-fingerprint finish, and a bigger 6000mAh battery.

The POCO M3 is priced at $149 for the 4GB RAM + 64GB inbuilt storage variant and $169 for the 4GB RAM + 128GB inbuilt storage variant. It will be available during the Black Friday sale starting from November 27th with a $20 discount with colour options like Power Black, Cool Blue, and Yellow colours. The New POCO M3 features a 6.53-inch Full HD+ 19.5:9 LCD screen with Corning Gorilla Glass 3 protection and 2340 × 1080 pixels resolution. It is powered by an octa-core Snapdragon 662 11nm Mobile Platform (Quad 2GHz Kryo 260 + Quad 1.8GHz Kryo 260 CPUs) with Adreno 610 GPU coupled with 4GB of LPPDDR4x RAM and 64GB (UFS 2.1) / 128GB (UFS 2.2) inbuilt storage variant. The device also supports expandable storage of up to 512GB with a microSD card slot. It comes with Dual SIM (nano + nano + microSD) slots and runs on the Android 10-based MIUI 12 OS out of the box.

It has a triple rear camera with a 48-megapixel main camera with f/1.79 aperture, LED flash, a 2-megapixel depth camera, and a 2-megapixel 4cm macro camera with f/2.4 aperture. It also has an 8-megapixel front camera with an f/2.05 aperture. It has a bigger 6000mAh battery with 18W fast charging support. Connectivity options available are dual 4G VoLTE, GPS + GLONASS, USB Type-C, Wi-Fi 802.11 ac (2.4GHz + 5GHz), Bluetooth 5, 3.5mm audio jack, and other features like FM Radio and stereo speakers. It has a side-mounted fingerprint sensor and an IR sensor as well. It measures 162.3×77.3×9.6mm and weighs 198g.
