Nokia launches Nokia C1 Plus Android 10 Go Edition and Nokia 5.4 smartphones
HMD Global has launched two new Nokia smartphones Nokia 5.4 and Nokia C1 Plus Android 10 Go Edition today. The new Nokia 5.4 comes with a punch-hole 19.5:9 aspect ratio display and is powered by a Snapdragon processor. It features a quad-rear camera setup with a 48-megapixel main camera. The Nokia C1 Plus Android 10 Go Edition, as the name implies, runs on the lite version of the Android 10 OS called Android 10 Go Edition and is likely to receive an Android 11 Go Edition update in the coming months.
The Nokia 5.4 is priced at 189 Euros for the UK and European markets where it will be available starting this month with Polar Night and Dusk colour options. The Nokia C1 Plus is priced at 69 EUR and will also be available starting this month with Blue and Red colour options.
The Nokia 5.4 features a 6.39-inch HD+ 2.5D curved glass display with 400 nits typical brightness and 720 x 1520 pixels resolution. It is powered by an octa-core Snapdragon 662 11nm Mobile Platform (Quad 2GHz Kryo 260 + Quad 1.8GHz Kryo 260 CPUs) with Adreno 610 GPU. It comes with 4GB / 6GB of RAM with 64GB / 128GB inbuilt storage variants and expandable storage up to 256GB with the help of a MicroSD card slot. It runs on Android 10 OS out of the box and is upgradable to Android 11 OS which might be coming soon to this device. It comes with Dual SIM (nano + nano + microSD) support as well.
It has a quad-rear camera with a 48-megapixel main camera with LED flash, a 5-megapixel wide-angle camera, a 2-megapixel depth sensor, and a 2-megapixel macro sensor. It also has a 16-megapixel front-facing camera. It comes with a rear-mounted fingerprint sensor and has a 4000mAh battery with 10W charging support.
Connectivity options available are Dual 4G VoLTE, Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g/n, Bluetooth 4.2, GPS + GLONASS, USB Type-C, NFC, 3.5 mm audio jack, and also comes with other features like FM Radio, Dual microphones, OZO audio, and Qualcomm aptX Adaptive feature. It measures 160.97 × 75.99 × 8.7mm and weighs 180 grams.
The Nokia C1 Plus Android 10 Go Edition features a 5.45-inch HD+ 18:9 in-cell display with 1520 x 720 pixels resolution and is powered by a 1.4GHz quad-core processor. It comes with 1GB of LPDDR3 RAM and 16GB of internal storage capacity that is further expandable up to 128GB with the help of a microSD card slot.
It runs on the Android 10 Go Edition and supports single / Dual SIM variants. It has a 5-megapixel rear camera with LED flash and a 5-megapixel front camera with LED flash too. It has a 2500mAh removable battery and supports 4G VoLTE, Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g/n, Bluetooth 4.2, GPS, micro USB and 3.5mm headphone jack connectivity options, and FM Radio support as well. It measures 149.1 × 71.2 × 8.75mm and weighs 146 grams.
