A concept video today leaked out some of the concept renders of the upcoming Xiaomi Redmi Note 5 flagship and also, it confirms that the device has received the 3C certification from the Chinese authorities with the model numbers MET7S and MEE7S.

The leaked renders confirm the device’s full-view display and a dual rear camera. The rear panel of the device has a fingerprint scanner just below the rear dual cameras. the front panel of the device has a look of the Galaxy S8 series flagships if we have a closer look.
According to the leaks, the Xiaomi Redmi Note 5 will feature a 5.99-inch display with 2160 × 1080 pixels resolution and an 18: 9 aspect ratio. The device will have an amazing screen-to-body ratio makes the device look stunning. It will be powered by the Snapdragon 636 processor and will have multiple variants with 3GB/4GB of RAM options and 32GB/64GB of inbuilt storage capacity options and both variants support expandable storage via a MicroSD card slot.
The device will feature a dual rear camera with 16-megapixel + 5-megapixel cameras along with an 8-megapixel front-facing camera. It will have a 4100mAh battery with Quick Charge 4.0 support. The device will carry a price tag of ¥1499 (around $238) in China and will be available in blue, gray, and black colour options according to the leaks.
We have already seen the Xiaomi Redmi Note 5 getting the TENAA approval in China with an 18: 9 display but with a single rear camera. Maybe the Plus variant will get the dual rear cameras. The TENAA listing reveals that this device comes with MET7 and MEE7 models. The leaked images from TENAA show that the device comes with power and volume buttons on the right side and a fingerprint scanner is available on the rear side of the device.
