Sharp has launched multiple smartphones today including the Sharp R1S and Sharp Pi and is expected to announce the AQUOS V1, AQUOS V1 mini, A2 Lite, A Click, and Sharp Aquos S2 devices soon. The Sharp R1S and Sharp Pi smartphones are announced for Indonesia and Vietnam while the pricing and availability details of other devices are currently unknown.
New Sharp Phones prices
The Sharp R1S is priced at 4,790,000 Vietnamese Dong (around $210) in Vietnam and 2,499,000 Indonesian Rupiah (around $185) in Indonesia. The SHARP Pi is priced at 2,990,000 Vietnamese Dong (around $131) in Vietnam and 1,899,000 Indonesian Rupiahย (around $141) in Indonesia.
Sharp R1S Prices
The Sharp R1S (FS8028) features a 5.5-inch HD IPS LCD 2.5D Glass display with 720 x 1280 pixels resolution and is powered by the octa-core MediaTek MT6750 64-bit processor. It comes with 3GB of RAM and 32GB of inbuilt storage capacity that is expandable via MicroSD card. It runs on the Android 7.0 Nougat OS out of the box and supports dual-SIMs.
It features a dual rear camera with 13-megapixel + 5-megapixel cameras with F2.0 aperture, LED flash, and a 5-megapixel front-facing camera is also available with F2.4 aperture. It has a large 5000mAh battery available and connectivity options available are 4G VoLTE, 3G, Bluetooth 4.2, WiFi IEEE 802.11 b / g / n (2.4 GHz), GPS, OTG and other options. It has a fingerprint scanner available on the front home button.
Sharp Pi specs
The Sharp Pi (IF 9007) is the Sharp variant of the InFocus A3 smartphone and has similar specifications and design. It features a 5.2-inch HD IPS LCD with 720 x 1280 pixels resolution and is powered by the 1.3 GHz quad-core MediaTek MT6737W 64-bit processor. It comes with 2GB RAM and 16GB of inbuilt storage capacity that is expandable via MicroSD card. It runs on the Android 7 Nougat OS out of the box again and supports dual-SIMs.
It features a dual rear camera with 13-megapixel + 2-megapixel cameras and LED flash along with an 8-megapixel front-facing camera. It supports 4G LTE UE Category 4, Bluetooth 4.0, GPS, WiFi IEEE 802.11 b / g / n (2.4 GHz) and other options as well. A 3000mAh battery backs up the device and it also has a fingerprint scanner on the front-facing home button.
Sharp Aquos V1 Mini Specs
The Sharp AQUOS V1 mini (FS8018) has already received the TENAA approval a few months back. It will feature a 5.48-inch FHD+ IPS LCD 17: 9 display with 1080 x 2040 pixels resolution and is powered by the 64-bit 2.2 GHz octa-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 630 Mobile Platform (SDM 630) and Adreno 508 GPU. It will have 4GB and 6GB of RAM options with 64GB and 128GB inbuilt storage options. It will be backed up by the 2930 mAh battery and will support connectivity options like 4G VoLTE, Bluetooth 5.0, WiFi and other options. It will run on the Android 7.1.1 Nougat OS out of the box and will support dual-SIMs. It is expected to launch soon for the Chinese market.
Sharp A Click Specs
The SHARP A Click (IF 9003) is expected to be the Sharp branded variant of the InFocus Snap 4 (IF 9003) smartphone. There are no details available about its specifications currently. The details of the V1 FS8015 (S3), and SHARP A2 Lite (FS8026) are also not available currently but we can expect that more details will be available soon.
