Razer Phone 2 announced with 8GB RAM, Snapdragon 845 and Dual rear cameras
Razer has finally launched the new Razer Phone 2 in an official event with exciting new specifications and features. The device is the successor to last year’s Razer Phone and it comes with a dual camera setup on the rear side and 8GB RAM with a Snapdragon 845 processor making it a gaming beast.

Razer Phone 2 Price
It comes with Mirror and Satin colour options and is priced at $799 for the Mirror version while the Satin version of the phone will be available later. It is currently available for pre-order in the US, Canada, UK and Europe. It has a Quad HD 120 Hz UltraMotion display that delivers the fastest refresh rates and smooth graphics which is suitable for gaming with 645 nits making it brighter than the predecessor.
Razer Phone 2 Specs
The Razer Phone 2 features a 5.72-inch Quad HD IGZO LCD UltraMotion display with 645 nits brightness, Corning Gorilla Glass 5 protection and 2560×1440 pixels resolution. It is powered by the 2.8GHz Octa-Core Snapdragon 845 64-bit 10nm Mobile Platform with Adreno 630 GPU and Vapor Chamber Cooling. It comes with 8GB of LPDDR4x RAM with 64GB of inbuilt (UFS) storage which is further expandable up to 2TB with the help of a microSD card slot. It runs on the Android 8.1 (Oreo) OS out of the box which is upgradable to Android 9.0 (Pie).
It has a dual rear camera with a 12-megapixel camera with f/1.75 wide-angle lens, OIS, Dual PDAF along with a 12MP secondary camera with f/2.6 aperture telephoto lens, Sony IMX Sensors, dual-tone LED flash. It also has an 8-megapixel front-facing camera with f/2.0 aperture. It has a 4000mAh battery with Qualcomm Quick Charge 4+ and wireless charging support.
It supports 4G VoLTE, Wi-Fi 802.11ac (2.4GHz + 5GHz), Bluetooth 5, GPS/ GLONASS, USB Type-C, and NFC connectivity options and also comes with additional features such as stereo front-facing speakers with Dual amplifiers, Dolby Atmos, 24-bit DAC Audio Adapter and has a side-mounted fingerprint sensor. The device is water-resistant with IP67 ratings. It measures 158.5 x 78.99 x 8.5 mm.
Razer’s second-generation flagship smartphone Razer Phone 2 official event was scheduled for October 10th. The invite by the company comes with a phone that looks similar to the predecessor of the phone with similar buttons on the left side as the Razer Phone. This time, the new gaming sensation Razer Phone 2 will be an excellent upgrade to last year’s Razer Phone.

It runs on the octa-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 845 Mobile Platform with Adreno 630 GPU and runs out of the box on Android 8.1 Oreo OS out of the box. It has scored 283,397 points on the AnTuTu benchmark and we will have more details about the device design in the upcoming device leaks and rumors. Razer might be looking for a true flagship of 2018 with the Razer Phone 2 smartphone.
