Meizu Note 8 announced with dual rear cameras, Snapdragon 632 and 3600mAh battery
Chinese smartphone maker, Meizu has just announced a new smartphone in the “Note series” with the name Meizu Note 8 that comes with a premium look, feel and dual rear cameras. The Meizu Note 8 is priced at 1298 yuan (around $186) and will go on sale in homeland China with Black, Blue, Purple and Red color options from November 1st. No details available about its global rollout yet. It comes with face unlock and also has a fingerprint scanner on the rear side. The device has a bigger battery with support for mCharge fast charging as well. It has a full-view display without a notch. Let’s check out the full specifications of the device next.
The Meizu Note 8 features a 6-inch Full HD+ 19:9 aspect ratio display with 2160 x 1080 pixels resolution and is powered by a 1.8GHz octa-core Snapdragon 632 14nm Mobile Platform with Adreno 506 GPU. It comes with 4GB of RAM and 64GB of internal storage capacity that is further expandable up to 128GB additional storage with the help of a microSD card slot. It runs on the Android 8.1 (Oreo) based Flyme OS 7 out of the box and also supports Dual SIMs. It has a dual rear camera with a 12-megapixel camera with LED flash, Sony IMX362 sensor, f/1.9 aperture, Dual PD auto focus, 6P lens with a secondary 5-megapixel camera for portrait shots. It also has an 8-megapixel front-facing camera with f/2.0 aperture. It has a 3600mAh battery with mCharge fast charging support and comes with 4G VoLTE, Wi-Fi 802.11 a/b/g/n (2.4GHz + 5GHz), Bluetooth 4.2 LE, GPS + GLONASS connectivity options. It has a fingerprint sensor on the rear side. It measures 153.64×75.56×7.95mm and weight 168 grams.

It comes with 6GB RAM with 64GB / 128GB (UFS 2.1) internal storage options and runs on the Android 8.1 (Oreo) with Flyme OS and supports Dual SIMs. It has a dual rear camera setup with a 12-megapixel camera with wide-angle lens, 1/2.3″ Sony IMX380 sensor, 1.55μm pixel size, f/1.8 aperture, Four-axis OIS, PDAF, Laser auto-focus along with a secondary 20-megapixel telephoto lens, Sony IMX350 sensor, f/2.6 aperture, 6-LED ring LED flash. It has a 20-megapixel front-facing camera with f/2.0 aperture, AI face unlocks. It has an in-display fingerprint sensor and has a 3.5mm audio jack with dual speakers support as well. It has a 3100mAh battery with mcharge fast charging and supports Dual 4G VoLTE, Wi-Fi 802.11 ac (2.4GHz + 5GHz), Bluetooth 5, GPS connectivity options.
