Motorola launches Edge S with Snapdragon 870, 5000mAh battery
Lenovo-owned Chinese smartphone manufacturer Motorola has launched the new flagship smartphone Motorola Edge S at an official event in China. This device has an LCD with dual punch-hole front cameras. It is powered by the Snapdragon 870 SoC which supports 5G connectivity. It has a bigger 5000mAh battery and quad-rear cameras.

Motorola Edge S Price
The Motorola Edge S is priced at 1999 yuan (around $309) for the 6GB RAM + 128GB inbuilt storage option, 2399 yuan (around $370) for the 8GB RAM + 128GB inbuilt storage option, while the 8GB RAM + 256GB inbuilt storage variant is priced at 2799 yuan (around $432). It is available for sale in China currently with white and emerald blue colour options.

The Motorola Edge S features a 6.7-inch Full HD+ LCD screen with a 21:9 aspect ratio, 90Hz refresh rate, 560 nits brightness, HDR10, DCI-P3 Color Gamut, and 2520× 1080 pixels resolution. It is powered by an octa-core (1 x 3.2GHz + 3 x 2.42GHz + 4 x 1.8GHz Hexa) Snapdragon 870 7nm Mobile Platform with Adreno 650 GPU. It comes with 6GB / 8GB of LPPDDR5 RAM with 128GB (UFS 3.1) inbuilt storage and the other variant with 8GB of LPPDDR5 RAM + 256GB (UFS 3.1) inbuilt storage capacity and no expandable storage slot. It comes with Dual SIM (nano + nano) support and runs on the Android 11 OS out-of-the-box stock experience.
It has a quad-rear camera with a 64-megapixel main camera with f/1.7 aperture, PDAF, LED flash, and a 16-megapixel 121° ultra-wide-angle lens with PDAF, 2.8cm macro, a 2-megapixel depth sensor, a ToF sensor, and audio zoom.
