HMD XR21 and HMD T21 announced, Price and Specifications
HMD has silently launched a new rugged smartphone HMD XR21 and also a tablet HMD T21 for the European and UK markets. The new HMD XR21 features a rugged design with MIL-STD-810H durability certification along with a bigger display, dual rear cameras, bigger battery and Android 12 OS instead of the new Android 14. The new HMD T21 tablet comes with a 10.36-inch display with 4GB RAM and 64GB storage, 4G support and a bigger battery. We will check out the specifications and prices of both in this article.

HMD XR21 Price
The new HMD XR21 is priced at Euros 599.99 for the 6GB RAM and 128GB storage variant and will be available in the Europ and the UK from the online HMD website in the Midnight Black colour option.
HMD T21 Tablet Price
The new HMD T21 tablet is priced at Euros 299.99 for the 4GB RAM and 64GB inbuilt storage variant and will be available from the HMD website with a Black steel colour option.
HMD XR21 Specifications
The new HMD XR21 features a 6.49-inch FHD+ 120Hz LCD display with 1080 x 2400 pixels resolution, 20:9 aspect ratio, 120Hz refresh rate, NTSC 82%, brightness 450nits (typ) 550 nits with sunlight brightness boost, use with wet hands and gloves and Corning Gorilla Glass Victus protection. It is powered by the Snapdragon 695 5G processor and comes with 6GB of RAM with 128GB of inbuilt storage. The device also supports Google Drive cloud storage.
It runs on the Android 12 OS out of the box with 3 years of OS upgrades and supports Dual-SIMs (eSIM/ Nano SIM + Nano SIM). It has a dual rear camera with a 64-megapixel main camera and an 8-megapixel secondary camera with Dual LED flash, flash shot mode, Night mode 2.0, AI Portrait, UW Capture fusion, SpeedWarp, Action cam, OZO Spatial Audio capture with wind-noise cancellation. It also has a 16-megapixel front camera. We have a large 4800mAh non-removable battery with 33W fast charging support (QC3.0 and PD2.0 compatible), up to 2-day battery life. HMD claims that the phone maintains greater than 80% of its original battery capacity even after 800 full charging cycles.

The new HMD T21 Tablet features a 10.36-inch 2K(1200 x 2000 pixels) LCD display with Toughened glass, 5:3 aspect ratio, SGS Low Blue Light Certification, Brightness 360nits (typ.), Active pen support, Widevine L1 for HD streaming support. It is powered by an octa-core UNISOC T612 (2 x A75 and 6 x A55 @ 1.8GHz) processor. It comes with 4GB of RAM and 64GB of inbuilt storage capacity with MicroSD card expandable storage of up to 512 GB.
It runs on the Android 13 OS out of the box with 2 OS upgrades and is Android Enterprise Recommended. It supports single nano SIM size. It has an 8-megapixel rear auto-focus camera with an LED flash and an 8-megapixel front camera with fixed focus.
