Nokia announced a bunch of new smartphones and a feature phone at the MWC 2018 event in Barcelona. The company launched the flagship device Nokia 8 Sirocco in the event that is an Android One device and has announced that all of the devices will be a part of Android One starting from Nokia 3, 5, 6, 7 and Nokia 8. The company also announced the new Nokia 7 Plus Android One, Nokia 6 Android One, Nokia 1 (Android Oreo Go edition) and the new feature phone Nokia 8110 with 4G LTE capabilities at the official event.
The flagship Nokia 8 Sirocco will be available with Black color option and is priced at 749 euros. It will be available for sale starting from next month. The Nokia 7 Plus is priced at €399 and will be available with Black + Copper and White + Copper color options and with early April sale. The Nokia 6 Android One edition will be available with a price tag of 249 Euros in Black + Copper, White + Iron and Blue + Gold color options and early April availability. Nokia 1 Android Oreo (Go Edition) will be available with Warm Red and Dark Blue color options and will be available for a mere $85 price tag. The buyers can also go for the new Nokia 8110 4G feature phone that will cost them €79 with Traditional Black and Banana Yellow color options.
The Nokia 8 Sirocco features a 5.5-inch pOLED display, sculpted Corning Gorilla Glass 5 protection, 700 nits brightness and 2560×1440 pixels resolution. It comes powered by the octa-core Snapdragon 835 Mobile Platform with Adreno 540 GPU along with 6GB of DDR4X RAM and 128GB of internal (UFS 2.1) storage that is expandable up to 256GB with microSD card slot. It runs on the Android 8.0 (Oreo) OS and supports single and Dual SIMs. It features a dual camera with 12-megapixel camera with 2L7 wide-angle lens, 1.4um pixel size, f/1.7 aperture and a 13-megapixel secondary camera with 3M3 Telephoto lens, 1.0um pixel size, f/2.6 aperture, dual-tone flash, 2x optical zoom. It also comes with 5-megapixel front-facing camera with 1.4um pixel size. It has a 3260mAh battery with fast charging and Qi Wireless Charging support along with a fingerprint sensor and Barometer. The device is water and dust resistant with IP67 ratings and comes with USB Type-C audio and 3 microphones. It comes with 4G VoLTE, Wi-Fi 802.11ac (MIMO), Bluetooth 5.0, GPS/ GLONASS, USB Type-C 3.1 Gen 1, NFC connectivity options and measures 140.93 x 72.97 x 7.5 mm.
The Nokia 7 Plus features a 6-inch Full HD+ 18:9 2.5D curved glass display with Corning Gorilla glass 3 protection and 2160 × 1080 pixels resolution. It is powered by an octa-core Snapdragon 660 14nm Mobile Platform (Quad 2.2GHz Kryo 260 + Quad 1.8GHz Kryo 260 CPUs) with Adreno 512 GPU. It has 4GB of LPDDR4 RAM, 64GB (eMMC 5.1) of internal storage and expandable storage up to 256GB with microSD card. Other options includes single and dual SIM options, Android 8.0 (Oreo) that is upgradable to Android 8.1, a dual rear camera with 12-megapixel rear camera with f/1.75 aperture, 1.4µm pixel size with ZEISS optics along with a 13-megapixel secondary camera with 1.0µm pixel size, f/2.6 aperture with ZEISS optics, dual-tone LED flash, 16-megapixel front-facing camera with ZEISS optics, fingerprint sensor, 3.5 mm headphone jack, three microphones with Nokia OZO Audio, 4G VoLTE, WiFi 802.11 ac (2.4GHz + 5GHz), Bluetooth 5, GPS + GLONASS, NFC, USB Type-C (USB 2.0), 3800mAh battery with fast charging. It comes with 1GB RAM, 8GB internal storage and expandable storage up to 128GB with microSD card. It runs on the Android 8.1 (Oreo) Go Edition and supports Dual SIM. It features a 5-megapixel rear camera with LED flash along with a 2-megapixel front-facing camera. It has a 2150mAh battery and supports 4G VoLTE, WiFi 802.11 b/g/n (2.4GHz), Bluetooth 4.2, GPS and measures 133.6 x 67.78 x 9.5 mm.
The Nokia 8110 4G features a 2.4-inch QVGA display with 320 x 240 pixels resolution and is powered by a 1.1GHz Dual-Core Qualcomm 205 Mobile Platform (MSM8905) with Adreno 304 GPU. It comes with 512MB of RAM and 4GB of internal storage that is expandable with microSD card. It comes with single and Dual SIM options. It runs on the Smart Feature OS powered by KaiOS and features a 2-megapixel rear camera with LED flash. It has a 2000mAh battery and supports 4G VoLTE, WiFi 802.11 b/g/n, Bluetooth 4.1 LE, GPS, USB 2.0 connectivity options and comes with Drip protection with IP52 ratings.
