The company is now looking all set to launch the new Redmi Note 6 series phones that might have the phones like Redmi Note 6 and Redmi Note 6 Pro. An image of the Xiaomi Redmi Note 6 Pro has recently been spotted confirming the design of the device and another leak with the leaked device box, confirms some of the specifications of the device.
The Redmi 6 Pro is expected to launch soon in the Indian market first and then in other markets but the exact timing for the launch is still not confirmed. Checking the leaked image of the device, we can see the only difference between the Redmi note 5 Pro and Redmi Note 6 Pro will be the “Notch display” for the Redmi Note 6 Pro. The leaked image suggests that the new Redmi Note 6 Pro will feature a 6.26-inch Full-Screen notch display with a 19:9 aspect ratio and a 1080×2280 pixels resolution. It is expected to be powered by the octa-core Snapdragon 660 14nm Mobile Platform (Quad 2.2GHz Kryo 260 + Quad 1.8GHz Kryo 260 CPUs) with Adreno 512 GPU. It will have 4GB RAM with 64GB of inbuilt storage capacity that will be further expandable via a MicroSD card slot. It will run on MIUI 10 with Android 8 and will also support Dual SIMs (Hybrid Dual SIMs).
It will carry a dual rear camera with a 12-megapixel camera sensor along with a secondary 5-megapixel camera. It will also have a dual front-facing selfie camera with a 20-megapixel sensor along with a 2-megapixel secondary sensor. It will have a 4000mAh battery with Quick Charge 4.0 support and will have connectivity options such as 4G VoLTE, Wi-Fi 802.11 a/b/g/n, Bluetooth 4.2, and GPS + GLONASS.
The leaked box suggests a 4GB+64GB variant but we can also expect 3GB+32GB storage and 6GB +64GB storage variants to launch as well. Redmi Note 6 Pro is expected to be priced around EUR 200 and EUR 250 for European markets and will be launched with a cheaper price tag in other markets including India where the predecessor of the phone, Redmi Note 5 Pro, is available with a price tag of Rs. 14,999. The Redmi Note 6 Pro is expected to be available in Black, Blue, and Gold colour variants.
