OPPO A53 5G announced with Dimensity 720 Processor, Triple rear cameras
Chinese Oppo has announced a new A-series smartphone OPPO A53 5G that comes with 5G connectivity and also has a triple rear camera system. This device has a side-mounted fingerprint scanner and supports 18W fast charging.

OPPO A53 Price
The OPPO A53 5G is priced at 1299 yuan (around $198) for a 4GB RAM + 128GB inbuilt storage variant and a 6GB RAM + 128GB inbuilt storage variant that will be available for sale at a later date in China with Black, Purple and Green colour options.

OPPO A53 Specs
The OPPO A53 5G features a 6.5-inch FHD+ 90Hz LCD with 2400×1080 pixels resolution and is powered by an octa-core MediaTek Dimensity 720 7nm processor (Dual 2GHz Cortex-A76 + Hexa 2GHz Cortex-A55 CPUs) with Mali-G57 MC3 GPU. It comes with 4GB / 6GB LPDDR4x RAM with 128GB (UFS 2.1) inbuilt storage. It runs on the ColorOS 7.2 based on Android 10 OS and supports Dual SIMs. It has a triple rear camera system with a 16-megapixel main camera with f/2.2 aperture, PDAF, LED flash, a 2-megapixel depth sensor, and another 2-megapixel macro sensor with f/2.4 aperture.
It also has an 8-megapixel front-facing camera with an f/2.0 aperture. The device has a side-mounted fingerprint sensor that can unlock the phone in 0.28 seconds and has a 4040mAh battery with 18W charging support. Connectivity options available are 5G SA/NSA, Dual 4G VoLTE, Wi-Fi 802.11 ac, Bluetooth 5.1, GPS/ GLONASS/ Beidou, USB Type-C, 3.5mm audio jack, and also comes with FM Radio support.
