Huawei is all set to launch its new smartphone Huawei Maimang 6, the successors to the last year’s Huawei Maimang 5 on September 22 as the company has started teasing the device on their weibo account. In a separate leak, leakster @evleaks has shared a screenshot from the Maimang 6 smartphone that shows the device dual cameras on rear and front panels. Now, a weibo user has shared a couple of leaked images from the device that also looks similar to the render shared by @evleaks on his Twitter account recently. According to the rumors this new device will carry a full screen display with minimal bezels. It will be powered by the Huawei’s own chipset from Kirin series.
According to the leaks online, the new Maimang 6 will feature a 5.99-inch Full HD+ 2.5D curved glass display with 2160 x 1080 pixels resolution and will be powered by the in-house octa-core Kirin 659 processor (4 xA53 at 2.36GHz + 4 x A53 at 1.7GHz) with MaliT830-MP2 GPU. It will have 4GB of RAM and 64GB of internal storage capacity that will be further expandable up to 256GB with microSD card slot. It will run on the Android 7.0 (Nougat) with EMUI on top and will also support Hybrid Dual SIMs, means you will be able to use two nano sims or one nano SIM + microSD card with this phone.
It will feature a dual rear camera with a 16-megapixel camera having LED flash along with a secondary 2-megapixel camera. The device will have a dual front facing camera as well with a 13-megapixel camera along with a secondary 2-megapixel camera. The device will be backed up by a 3240mAh battery and will carry a number of connectivity options like 4G LTE with VoLTE, WiFi 802.11 b/g/n, Bluetooth 4.2, GPS / Glonass and others. It will have a fingerprint sensor on the rear side below the dual rear camera module. It measures 156.2 × 75.2 × 7.5mm and weights 164 grams. It will be available with Black and Blue color options.
